If you have formatted your drive then you should be using the latest version of Recover My Files, v3.73 to run a "Complete Format Recover". If you have a new drive letter, search that, if not , search the "physical drive". In the file type selection list use only the default selected file types. Do not add more file types to the search. TXT files are not a good option to search for as any partially overwritten file will be returned as Text. I suggest that if you have ttxt files currently selected then whilst the seardch is in progrress, click on the OPTIONS button, go to the file types tab, and take the tick our of TXT files. Then click OK ot continue the search.

At the end of the search your old partition witll be rebuilt. The program will switch to "folder view" and show you the results with full file and folder names.
