If you partition and reinstalled windows then you need to user Recover My Files (
www.recovermyfiles.com) to run a "Complete Format Recover".
Were there only music files on this disk? Or were there other file types as well. Usually I suggest that you only search for the default file types. These file types are used to locate the old partition records and find the entire partition (including all file types, not just the ones selected).
