After having multiple problems with Win XP (there's a shock), my husband and I decided to reinstall it. I burned many back-up CD's, but somehow managed to miss our picture folder. Sadly, the last time I backed them up was almost a year and a half ago. Before I invest the money,I have two questions.

1. What are the odds that I would be able to recover the pictures?

2. If I buy the product and for some reason am not able to recover the files, can I get my money back?

Thanks for any help! I'm devastated at the thought that the pictures are gone forever.
