i have one more question, i recently tried PCI file recovery (a free recovery tool)......i did showed me the folder names and the file names......so i dont believe that my MFT is corrupted......As per your comments if MFT is not corrupted RMF should recover my files right. i guess i must have missed some step in RMF.
