I had the same proplem you are having except I lost my second hdd after I formatted my C: drive. I was unable to access my 300 gb D: drive after I formatted C: . I purchased RECOVER MY FILES and was able to recover all the files on my D: hdd. I have yet to find out why when you format a sata drive that any other sata drives you have ( D:, E: ) they will also have to be reformatted. I feel sure that RMF will recover all the files on this drive that you want to recover.
