I just purchased the software after running what ended up being a week-long search on a 250 GB drive. Windows corrupted/deleted my MFT so I lost all the information on my files and have been using the lost files search to try and recover everything I can.

Two questions:

Most of the files I am trying to recover are MPEG-2 streams (SVCDs -m2v extension) or DVD VOB files. I thought the MPEG filter might find them but it doesn't look like it has. Can these file types be searched for?

Also, for the MPEGs it did find, it says it found 49,000 GB of files. Some of the files are over 200 GB themselves. What might cause this?
