You can try opening the file with infanview, a free graphics program that is quite good at opening slightly damaged files. Trying to repair the damage with a edit program like photoshop is also an option.

Form more serious corruption, there are some graphic repair programs that can be found with a google search - but in my experience I have never found them to be much good.
