Default Ipod recovery, any sucess with GetData?

Hi everyone, please help. I have a one year old 80g ipod. with about 40gig of music & videos in it. One day I turn it on and it was empty!! the menus & operating system seems fine but it has no music or anything in it, like it has been reset or something??... I can only think of 2 theorys, I've left it connected to my computer & when the computer reboots, it may have ran scandisk on the ipod & messed it up or.... I remember putting the ipod in my pocket next to my cel phone & I've heard that cel phone micro-waves could be very damaging when it rings....

I came across this program--GetData-recovery my files-demo ver. I'm running it right now on "complete scan" (fast scan did not work). scanning so far for 17 hours, it shows about 25% complete & it says it found 23k files... so I got about 3 more days to go at this rate...

I think I've read that if everything goes well, it recovers the files to my hard drive 1st then I would have to load it back into the ipod. my question is, before I pay the $60, would the recovered mp3's still have all the modified infos/tags on it? infos that I've spent hundreds of hours organizing such as album arts, corrected artists, song names, genre, lyrics... etcs? (I know I'm nuts). I still have back ups of all my music spread between 3 computers. I will gladly pay $60 if I don't have to mess with the reloading the album arts & the renaming... etc

thanks for listening.
