Please try running Recover My Files (
Data Recovery Software to Undelete Files; Disk recovery; Recover Deleted Files) on the formatted disk. Follow the "format recovery" instructions in the first post of this forum and see if you get better results. If you do, this may mean that you do not have to try and repair the files.
