Got the files, now all I need are the folders
Recover My Files appears to have done a very nice job of recovering about 130 GB of data from my trashed Buffalo Networks DriveStation Duo which is an external USB drive containing a pair of 500GB drives mirrored. The recovered files are all in a flat structure of about 5,000 folders with numeric names. This was all accomplished by running a Complete Format Recover per your instructions in the first posting "How to recover a formatted hard drive".
I'm not sure how I lost the partition in the first place. At the time the drive was plugged into a Linksys WRT610N router that has a network-attached storage feature. I've since learned that it's not uncommon for this router to quietly destroy a drive. All I know is one minute it worked and the next minute it was formatted "RAW".
What I'd like to know now is if there is any way I might be able to recover some or all of the folder structure. Do I have any options at all?
