it was working perfectly but then........helpppp
recently i had a virus sort of a thing infecting my pc. i lost my media files(.avi), but i read online about the same virus and people had used recovermyfiles to get their data back. so i downloaded recovermyfiles from the getdata website. the first time i used it the quick scan showed all the files on the partition of my hd which i had lost. but the next time i used it the event log had this written in it, and it showed nothing.

i noticed that the filter was off so i turned it on again. and my drive is recognized properly by my pc as well.
