Default Multiple Partitions on a Single Spindle

I am running Windows XP with all patches thru Mid May'09. The operating system ("C") was on a MAX120 (a 20GB partition) I also have a _Single_ WD300 unit that has/had Drives/Partitions "D" thru "W" for a total of 20 "Drive Letters" plus 3(three) other areas all under a single extended partition. (Head shake) This unit is is failing I have been able to Zip off all the partitions except one -- OF COURSE that's the one I need to recover. Both XP's disk management and Partition Magic 8.01 report the partition that I'm relatively sure is my drive/partition "V" as being ""healthy"" but with NO Label and NO data

I have move the system "C" to a new WD160 (32GB partition) and the other drives/partitions to a new WD500 (drives "D" thru "U" and "W")

How do I proceed to recover my drive partition "V" with minimal spin time on the old/failing drive/spindle unit

Thanks for ANY Help and Insight !!!!
