Make sure you are using Recover My Files v4, available at
http://download.getdata.com/RecoverMyFiles-Setup.exe
Run a 'Recover Files' search on the drive letter. Run the "Search for deleted files" search.
In the results screen, look in the "File Type" view for your file. Also look for in Folder view for the file in its original folder.
