Download Recover My Files from www.recovermyfiles.com or http://download.getdata.coom/RecoverMyFiles-Setup.exe.
Run a "Complete Format Recover" of the drive letter for the default selected file types. Look both in File View and Folder View in the results screen for your files. Click on the files found to preview them and if you see the ones that you are looking for purchase an activation key to save your files to another drive.

I have tried what you had suggested, and the good news is that the program actually recognised that i have 1014.58 MB of raw data on the disk
, (I have never been able to verify that anything was on the disk before) so progress has been made, BUT the program then promptly crashes with a window appearing about 12 times accross and down the screen saying "INVALID POINTER OPERATION" whatever that means? after that the program shuts itself down and disappears. please say that you can help me . Thank you for the time spent helping I REALLY appreciate it .Last edited by protheseus; 09-21-2006 at 11:26 AM. |

Hi,
I just want to be sure I understand exactly what you are trying.... Are you searching your hard disk to recover the data? or, Are you searching the DVD? It may be easier if I help you via MSN messenger or another chat program. Please contact me via email. Thank you.
