Default a problem with an external hard drive

Hi there i have a problem with an external hard drive that i recently bought and transferred all my pictures and some other audio sample files and music the pics are my major concerv . what happened was that windows crashed and i had to hit the reset button on my pc the external hard drive was still on and i let windows boot up again ,it statted to scan the external hard drive and then windows booted up as normal . i had the external hard drive named as 160GBEXHD now the computer is picking it up as local disk f and when i try to click on it to go in to it its asking me to format it and when i go to properties its telling me 0bytes used and i have 0 freespace is there any way of retrieving this data mainly the pics

Default Data Recovery

Please download and install Recover My Files from www.recovermyfiles.com or by clicking this link: http://download.getdata.com/RecoverMyFiles-Setup.exe.

Run the program and select "Fast Format Recover". Click Next.
In the drive selection window, look for the "physical drive" that is the same size as your problem disk. Put a tick in the box next to this drive and click Next.
Let the search run and when it finishes, look in "Folder View" of the results screen for your files. Click on the files to preview their content. If you can see them, purchase an activation key from www.recovermyfiles.com and save your files back to your C: drive.

Did the Recover My Files Fast Format Recover find them? Please let us know the results.

Thank you.
