Need Help.

Hi,
My computer was broken and my friend fixed it, but the problem is i need my data back,
this is the story,
I bough a new hard drive,and ask my friend to format and install an OS he did eventually but before, he accidentally installed the OS to the previous (full of data) hard drive and put few softwares inside it. He "accidentally" formated my whoooolleeee document,movie,pictures,music that ive been collecting.
(before was 2 partition c: and dall the data ), he formatted it so now it became 1 partition with few software in it)

I tried to recover it with RMF trial, and found few files, but i cannot open it (ex. .avi,.mp3)

my question is quite simple (duuuhhh!!) can i recover my files? and what are the possibilities.

Please use the latest version of Recover My Files available here: http://download.getdata.com/RecoverMyFiles-Setup.exe

Run a Complete Format Recover of the "Physical Drive" drive. Search only for the default selected file types.

At the end of the search look in folder view for your files. You should get most if not all of your files back with full file and folder names.
