Default recovered files not the same as lost files

I've splitted my harddisk into a primary partition and an extended partition wiht 2 logical drives. My system crashed past week and I had to re-install windows xp. After the installation the second logical drive was gone and has turned into undefined free space. I've tried to recover the files with "recover my files", but the files that are recovered aren't the same as I had on my diskpart. For example: the photo's I had on that disk(*.jpeg) don't match the jpeg-files that are recovered. Can somebody help me?

Default Data Recovery

It sounds like the wrong part of the disk is being searched. Send me an email and I will connect to you machine and take a look.

Thank you.

Default tried all drives

I have tried all possible partitions/logical drives (even the physical drives) and all four search/repair ways that "repair my files" offers. Getting connected to my machine is an option I don't prefer and also won't do.

Default re-appeared

The data on the drive has appeared at the same mysterious way as it dissappeared. Don't ask me how I did it, cause I really don't know. But thanx anyway for responding the question
