Default Why I cannot read the recovered files?

I have just purchased RecoverMyFiles two days before to recover the files contained in a floppy disk which floppy disk was not recognized by my PC. I do not know why.

I first used the Complete File Search of the RMF program to search the lost files in the floppy disk. The result showed that 2 Microsolf Excel files and 28 Microsolf Word files were found. I could see the previwe of the file except one excel file which should have been corrupted as hinted at the preview area. I saved the recovered file (in this case, the original file names were not shown but only Recovered Word xxxx, etc.) to Hard Drive C: under a new folder. I then try to open the files. Some of them can be opened but about 25% of the word files denied access giving the reason that the access path was not correct. I am sure that all these files created and saved in the same manner without any complication or protection code. Why some of them can be read whilst some of them cannot be accessed?

Further, I could access one of the Excel file, but on reading the other one which was hinted as corrupted on the preview, a message that it was a read only file was prompted and access was denied. Is this normal?

I then tried to use Complete Format Recover of RMF to recover the floppy disk. All the files in the floppy were found with all the original names. I saved them to another folder and tried to open them. Unfortunately, I could, this time, open none of them. The same message mentioned above prompted and access was denied. I am puzzled. Did I miss some steps?

Hoping that some experts can help me to solve this problem.

Default File Recovery

The Complete File Search if finding the files based on their header and footer, which is why they have names called "Recovered....".

The documents on the disk sound like they have been slightly corrupted.

For slightly corrupt files our preview function for Word documents in Recover My Files is actually better than Word itself, which is why we can preview the contents of some files which Word itself cannot open.

To open the problem files, go to http://www.repairmyword.com and use this progam to get access to the contents.

When you use the Complete Format Recover you are usign the File Allocation Table at the start of the disk to find the files. The FAT may be slightly corrupt, but still try opening these files with Word Repair.

To open the problem files, go to Repair Microsoft Word Documents: Easily repair corrupt Microsoft Word .doc files. Try it free. and use this progam to get access to the contents.

added to the above i can not open any recovered word document it shows like below:

Permission for this document is currently restricted. This document can only be opened by using Microsoft Office 2003 or later. You can request the author of the document to send a copy that can be read using the Rights Management Add-on for Internet Explorer.
