Because the file is so large it is most likely fragmented (not stored as one single file but broken up into pieces and stored in different parts of the disk). To recover the file try running a Fast File Search and int he results screen look for the original file name. This search finds files by using their MFT record, which tells the PC how to track the fragmentation.

Try the following....

1. Take the tick out of "Search for deleted files";
2. In the first wizard screen, click on "Manually Set Options";
3. In the SEARCH tab put a tick in "Search for lost files", take the tick out of "Try and determine file size" and change the default file size to 5050 mb.

Click OK and run the search.
