Question Newbie Question, will this file recover

Hi

Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldnt find a definative answer on the forum.

I have the evaluation version to check to see if I can find a .PST file that I desperately need to recover. Before I purchase a licence can someone confirm if I can recover under the following conditions?

I set the scan to look for .PST files and it has found a number of files contained in the "C:\Lost Files" folder but they are called "Recovered_PST_1", "Recovered_PST_2" etc etc.

The first file shows a resonable file size of 1.3GB which could be the file I am looking for and all the others only have a filesize of 1KB.

If as I suspect this 1.3GB file is the one I am trying to recover my question is;

Do files found in the "C:\Lost Files" folder during a scan with a filename in the format of "Recovered_xxx_x" recover correctly?

Many thanks for any answers. I am desperate to recover this file for a customer who lost it when her login profile got removed from her PC which deleted all her files.

Default Data Recovery

Hi,

Unfortunately it is not currently possible to preview the contents of a deleted PST file. Your only option is to purchase the program, save the pst and the try and open it with outlook.

If the pst file is corrupt, there are some options. You can run SCANPST.exe, a Microsoft program located on all Windows comptuers and also Recover My Email for Outlook, from www.recover-my-email.com.

If the file is corrupt or cannot be opened, please contact support via www.recovermyfiles.com and explain the situation.
