I am thinking of purchasing this software. What is the current version of the software?

The current version is 3.98 (5343)

I asked because I would like to purchase one and saw one at Amazon.com for $50. It does not list version/build number in the ad. Will I still get the latest version if I go ahead and buy that one?

The copy that you receive on the CD may be an old version, depending on when Amazon purchased it.

You will need to update it after installing to get the latest version.
