Default Format recovery

Can you tell me what operating system you are running, whether you did a full or quick format of the drive, and what type of search you ran in RMF.

Default txt files

I would recommend running a Complete Format Recover on the drive, but leave the default file types selected. It will still find .txt files, however they will be categorised as "Other Files" on the File Type View tab.

If this doesn't work run a Complete File Search on the Physical drive.

It is possible that if you have been using the drive since you ran the trial version that the sectors containing your txt files have been overwritten completely.
