Default Recovering Directory List

Hi, my hard drive died the other day. I've tried recovering the files, but I haven't got them all! I'm wondering if there's a way I can recover the files and put them back in the same directory they were on the hard drive? I haven't made any changes to the hard drive yet. It's FAT32. I'm on a Mac but I can use Parallels for Windows.

Default Data Recovery

Have you run Recover My Files from http://www.recovermyfiles.com? I suggest you give it a try (it runs under Windows) and try a Fast Format and then a Complete Foramt Recover.

Tried it, didn't work. It didn't recover all the files! With another program, I recovered about 100Gb, with this, it only found around 25Gb.

It's available on Mac and it's called Data Rescue II from http://www.prosofteng.com/products/data_rescue_info.php

It's good software and provided more files than the recommend program, but neither got all the files. And neither rebuilt the directory! Anyone recommend any?
