thank you very much for the information i was worried that i need to do 4gb at a time but it is good to know that i can select everything i need and it will know when to ask for new cd. thanks

also as it pulls the files to burn to dvd it isnt doing anything to the file on the hard drive is it? i am just thinking that if something goes wrong i can still run the software again and the files still be on the hard drive.

stuck on burning the first dvd. it has now been 1 hour and 15min for buring the first dvd does it normally take this long for 1 disc?

No, it dosent. Are you using a DVD -R?, certain types of these seem to be problematic. If possible, please try a DVD +R.

that is what i got is a dvd +r so who knows. i see how long it takes to burn the next dvd. i just now finished about 15mins from now and it is 1230am west coast. who knows but thanks for the idea.
