We purchased this software based on search results (complete search) that appeared to show numerous InDesign files that we lost during an accidental deletion. However, now that we've purchased the software and done two separate recoveries, the numbered InDesign files (don't have original file names) appear to be recovered, but InDesign won't open any of them, saying they are corrupt or unrecognizable. What did we do wrong if anything? Are there other settings (Full Recovery?) or some such that need to be set in order to get readable restored InDesign files?

Hi,
If the files were accidentially deleted then the best type of search to run is a Complete File Search for the InDesign file type. The best thing to do would be to email me some samples of the files that will not open and I will find out why. If you can also send a sample of a good file it will help us compare good with bad and version details. Thanks
