How can I recover *.QDB and *.QDT files. They are extension for Quicken Deluxe Version 6. I know its an old software but my wife loves it.
I accidentally reformatted the HD that all her files where on. I was able to recover everything expect the Quicken extension. Thanks, |

If you run a fast format recover and search for the default file types only, you should file all files listed in "Folder View" of the results screen, including your Quicken files.

I did a Fast Format Recover and tried both the logical drive and the physical one and it did not give me anything except the picture I attach.
In each RP directory there is either RestorePointSize or change.log. Some directories have both. I already did a complete format recover but it did not get the quicken 6 files ![]() Thanks, Last edited by cabman2323; 05-01-2007 at 07:29 PM. |

Please try running a "Complete File Search" specifically for the Quciken and Quick Books file types.

It may find the files and is worth a try.

We will need to reverse engineer the file structure. We will need 3 different samples of each specific file type. Do you have these?
