Default Try to restore WordPerfect documents

I'm able to save the document I want, but WP 12 won't open it -- keeps saying it's in an unsupported format.

Any ideas on how to proceed? Am getting desperate here!

Thanks!

Hi,

Download Explorer View for Windows, www.explorerview.com. Open Windows Explorer and then view the file with Explorer View - change to text preview mode to see if you can read and text in the file.

Nope. Doesn't work -- am unable to read the text in Explorer View as well.

Anything else I can try? I bought the program specifically to recover these files and don't know WHAT do to!

Thanks!

Kathy

Please email the file to me.

Have you run a "Complete File Search" with Recover My Files specifically for the Word Perfect file types?

Got it to work!! Had one of those "duh" moments and organized eveything by date, then by ability to restore -- and ta da! There it was and was able to save it!

Many thanks, Graham -- you saved my butt!
