Hello,
I have an access violation 0071573E write of adress 20428418 when saving to CD. What could be the problem ? Also and as there are around 700 Mb on a CD, I wonder how to get an indication on the size of all selected files before burning the CD ? What happen if you go above 700Mb, is there a warning message or something ? Thanks Frederic |

Frederic,
I am not sure about the access violation. Can you give us a more detailed d********** of what you were recovering, the type of search you had perfromed, your system specs and where the error occured. Also are you using v3.22 (the latest)? In relation to the 700MB CD limit; Recover My Files will burn 700MB or less depending on the file sizes, then de-select those files and wait for a new disk. So all you need to do is keep placing disks in until all the recovered files have been burnt on CD or DVD and there are no more files selected.

Hello,
I made a complete recovery from a formated hard disk where a new Windows Xp version have been reinstalled. I was able to save part of the recovery on a few CD but not more and now it is impossible to save anything else. I had this violation error message at first after starting a burning session. I the meantime I reinstalled your software and now I cannot see anything in the CD/DVD burning panel, the area with "select device" can be refreshed but it does not change anything since it is like your software do not detect the CD writer but it is still there and nothing has changed (I have not use this PC for anything else except trying to recover lost files with your software). My computer is an HP Pavilion with XP SP1 family edition Ram 512 ADM Athlon XP2800+ Thank you |

Frederic,
When you re-installed Recover My Files make sure thatl the following files are in the folder where it was installed. You should see: RecoverMyFiles.exe CDB_WIN32.dll RMF_PDF.dll WNASPI32.dll RecoverMyFiles-Help.chm There may be some others like unins00.dat, these can be ignored. These files are all that is required to run the program in full with CD burning.
