Default .PST Recovery from Mirra Drive

I deleted an old .pst file from my laptop computer and realized a week later that it included some very important messages. Making matters worse, I run TuneUp Utilities 2007 which includes a feature that deletes files from the Recycle Bin using the DOD process. If this isn't enough, I also have a Mirra backup drive where the .pst file once resided. Before realizing I needed the .pst file, I decided to do some cleanup on the Mirra drive and delete unneeded files including this one. OOPS!!!! This qualifies me as a complete dork, but can you help me anyway??? Is it possible for me to run your recovery software directly against the Mirra drive?

Default Update

I'm cautiously optimistic to see that the scan has found 4 .pst files so far. The scan is 30% complete or so. I was very worried because the Seagate recovery software had found NOTHING!!!!

Default Data Recovery

The best thing to do is to run the software and give it a try. It is hard to know if the PST files that you have found so far will be valid. It is possible that you have found the operating system reference to the file name but the actual data content has been destroyed by the wiping tools that you describe.

Please let me know the results at the end of the search and we can try a few different things to try and recovery your mail.
