Default new vista hp notebook office 2007 crashed need to recover after formatting

I have a 5 week old hp pavillion dv2615nr notebook with amd dual core TL-58 1.9Ghz & 959MB memory. 32 bit o/s. Started new job 5 weeks ago, employer sent a ton of emails and files, my backup caught most of the files but no emails. Computer crashed adfter hp & windows updated at same time, I called hp hotline they had me power down and go to bios? several times, couldn't get whatever they were after and had me re-format c drive off of small d drive recovery partition. All files, desktop settings, emails and attachments are now lost. I will buy software if it will resolve issues. Oh, we are working with Office 2007. Does anyone know what to do or use?

Default Data Recovery

Hi Shawn,

Try to use the computer as little as possible until you can recover the files as Windows will be writing to the disk and may overwrite and destroy some important data.

Download Recover My Files from www.recovermyfiles.com or http://download.getdata.com/RecoverMyFiles-Setup.exe

Run a Complete Format Recover of the "physical drive" and search only for the default selected file types. You should get your files back. You will be able to preview the files in the results screen, so if you can see them, you can purchase an activation key and save them. You must save them to another drive or a CD or DVD.
