I'm using Recover My Files to recover the files on a Dynamic Disc which is displayed by Windows as offline and cannot be eactivated. The problem is some files appear in their correct path, while some other show up in "Quick NTFS Partition 1\[numbers]\end of path\".
For example a file that should be in "Quick NTFS Partition 1\the\path\to\the\file\" shows up in "Quick NTFS Partition 1\[00015467]\to\the\file\". How can the original folder structure be restored? |

Numbers indicate that the Master File Table is slightly corrupt.
If you have not already done so, you should try both the FAST and COMPLETE format recover options as these use slightly different techniqes to rebuild the file system. In both cases, search the "physical" drive. If both these searches do not give you better file name results then due to the corruption it is unlikely that the additional original path information can be recovered.
