Dear Friend,

I am using External HDD with case of TechData and Seagate External USB HDD Having capacity of 100Gb, into which i have made two partition G:\19gb and H:\30gb remaining is unused.
While i was accessing this hdd all of sudden it hanged due to it system got hanged and i directly shutdown the system. withoug stoping the HDD using taskbar option.
But after starting, it was shoing me the usage of G:\19gb but inplace all of my folder it is showing me only USBChc~..only this named file, which i can not access - delete - rename and i am not able to see my data,
Is any way to recove that data...

Thanks in advance,
Baiju

Hi Baiju

Firstly, you will need to download & install Recover My Files from www.recovermyfiles.com

After installing, run Recover My Files and do a Fast Format Recover of the G drive. This should not take more than 1 hour.

If this finds your files and you can preview them, you will need to purchase the software to obtain an activation key to allow you to save your files.

If the Fast Format Recover doesn't find your files, run a Complete Format Recover.
