Hi my laptop only had one partition C. I used a password for windows login screen. weeks earlier my laptop suffered blue screen and won't boot anymore. without booting into windows I can't save my files so I pulled the harddrive out and used an usb enclosure and was able to access the harddrive through usb on another computer, however, my main folder that contains all my files under c: is "not accessible" and the folder property shows that it contains 0 bytes of information. I think it is the windows login password preventing access to the data from a second computer. Is there anyway I can save the data using any software or other methods? Please help. Thanks.

Hi,
Make sure you log in as 'admin' - and then in Windows Explorer, right click on the properties of the folder and ensure the security settings allow you to access the folder. You should be able to bring up the contents this way.
