Will scanning the HDD more then once with a "Complete Scan" bring up the number of files found or help better the quality of files?

i have 2 IDE hard drives laying out due to moding of the internal board of my external case because it only holds 1 drive. Any how, a little rug rat was over and crawling all over every thing and my drive was touched and got a static shock, now it is completely unreadable to windows. problem is that it was my main back up for a bunch of backup movies, and after 1 scan the quality is really poor, the video is still good but the audio is scratchy and unhearable. is it worth scanning agen or am i up the creak without a paddle?

This program is awesome and has saved my data loss many times in the past but im thinking this might be pushing it.

Default Data Recovery

In your situation the best results are usually obtained by trying the "Fast Format" and the "Complete Format" recovery options. The reason for this is that they try and rebuild the partition information - and if this works, the partition information is usually very reliable at locating the exact files (and not getting any extra bits that may screw up things like audio quality). Try these two options, and in both cases, search the "physical drive". Let me know how it goes.

Well finally the full scan is complete, and there where some files missing but after that i ran a quick scan and i had another 3 folders worth show up.

After all is said and done there was 1 corrupt folder that i couldn't get back and 3 folders that had been deleted that came up, lol. After my other external full to the brim my main HDD crying. My laptop blue screened on me and my drive that had all the original data on it was working agen?!? so that was really awesome not sure if thats from this program or if it was just some fluke thing.

ether way awesome program pretty much every thing was recovered from just scanning. GJ team "GetData"!
