It woiuld have been very useful to me when using RMF to stop the program in the middle of a search and save the results in case I needed to come back to them later. Is there any way to effect this?

It is not currently possible to save search results and then reload them into RMF at a later time. We will include this feature at a later date, but it is complex because the contents of the drive can easily change making some of the results invalid when they are re-loaded.
You can stop a "Complete File Search" part way through, save files, and then start the search again from the same location. To do this, note down the cluster number that the search is up to before you stop it, save your files, then in OPTIONS/ADVANCED put a tick in the box for "prompt for start cluster". When you start again you will be prompted for the starting point.
