Hi.
Iīd like to expose a little bit of some issues involving the use of RMF ... - Trial Version only shows the files .. even with a preview ... but you canīt save them. - Pirate copies saves only 1KB files... you wonīt open them :-D - During search some kind of files (mpeg for example) may appear to have 1042KB. Donīt worry ... after search is complete, at the folders view, files will have the right size for saving. - Even if you donīt search for some kind of file, at folders view, they will be there. So, donīt choose more than 5 kinds to search for, in order to make it faster. Avoid also searching for multmidia files, specially mpeg. They slow down searching process considerably. - Searching files will take a little while. But keep extra pacience for analysing process. That takes time! But itīs necessary for rebuilding all folders structures and file names you need, so you can save everything as it was before. - RMF recovers even files lost at many formatings before. I could see files from when I used windows98, with old FAT32 system. Iīm from Brazil. Iīm sure thereīs no such a wonderful program in my Country, and I believe that could be extended for the whole world. Recover My Files is just amazing. Iīm very glad I found it. Donīt hesitate to buy this program. Itīs sure worth it! God bless its creators! There emerges just one doubt: How can I make sure some unwanted file will not be able to be recovered anymore??? Do a have to literaly burn my Hard Disk??? :-D Wallace Moura www.parnanet.com.br |

Hey, people...
RMF does work fine ... but thereīs one thing we gotta be careful ... until itīs fixed in next versions ::: If thereīre many subdirectories levels, about 4 or five levals from de root, they will not appear on the right place in folder results... But theyīll be there, in a diferent location on the results... Just pay attention ... to select them to be recovered ... if not ... Theyīll be lost... I used the Hard Disk again and just after I notice this ... Too late... RMF finds them, but after saving, they are not valid files (although they have the same file size as before....) ... Iīm fustrated with this situation ... part because of the software, part because of my lack of attention. About 30 thousand pictures were lost... :-( But just pay attention, you ****. RMF works fine. |
