microdrive 4GB problem

I have a Hitachi Digital camera chip that seems to have a mechanical problem, it won't read and makes a funny noise when I try to read it with all in one reader. Any suggestions as to what i should do ??

There is not a lot that you can do yourself.

You might try testing it on another card reader. When you insert it, is it recognized at all by your pc under My Computer > Manage > Disk Management, either as a drive letter or as a physical drive?
