Hi =\.
Right. I recently had trouble with my new pc that i built with winxp, endless troubles infact. I had one dynamic disk that i installed about 3 years ago, and back then it was simply a experiment to see what Dynamic Disks was all about. Only the one harddrive was made dynamic. I am now running Vistax64, and in the Disk Drive Management snapin, the drive is there, but on the lefthand block, it says "Disk 2. Dynamic. Invalid" When i try to reactivate the disk i get the following msg "This operation is not allowed on the invalid disk pack" I tried 'recover my files.exe', but due to the disk being un-mountable i wasn't able to proceed any further. Am i meandering down the right alley here? ![]() |

Try a "Fast Format Recover" with Recover My Files.
In the drive selection window, do you see the "physical" drive listed?
