Default Video files won't play.. help

I have an external HD that suddently became inaccessible by windows. I haven't formatted it hoping i could recover all of the files in it. After I ran Complete format recover, I was able to recover all of the files and I saved it into a different external HD. I was really happy when I got all the files back (mostly video files .avi) BUT when I tried to play them, None of them is playable. Even the jpg files are not viewable.

Please help.. Should I format this external drive then run RMF again?

Default recover a formatted hard drive

No, dont format the drive.

What version of Recover My Files did you run? The latest is 3.73, please use this.

When you saved the files, did they all save with the correct file size? (the same file size as shown in the results screen?).

What happens when you run Fast Format Recover? Please copy and paste the event log here.

Thanks.

I did use the latest version 3.7.3. I already closed the window so I can't copy and paste the even log anymore. But all the file sizes are correct, so can't be the problem with the size. Are you suggesting me to run the RMF again using the fast format recover?

Default Data Recovery

Yes, you should try Fast Format Recover - it will only take about 15 minutes.

I ran the fast format recover but it says Found 0 partitions.. I don't understand.. When I ran the complete format recover, it shows all the files that I had in that drive and i had no problem saving them into a different HD.

Here's what it says:
Searching for partition entries.
Cylinder = 30515
Tracks per cylinder = 255
sectors per track = 63
Found 0 partitions.
All searches completed.
A total of 0 file(s) were located.
Time elapsed: 105.25156667 (mins)

Please help, I can't afford to lose 250Gb of files...
