truncated or incomplete files

Hi,

Can anyone point me in the right direction to possibly recover jpeg files of photos that were taken in 2003/2004. I have them on a CD but when I try to open them they always say "jpeg marker sergment length too short (the following may be truncated or incomplete". There are absolutely loads of photos and I think I used a kodak camera at the time.

I would really appreciate any help.
