I copied my photo and HD Video files to my USB drive (I believe it was formatted as FAT32 - it's WD MyBook ext. USB).
Next I connected it as to HP Media Server, which re-initialized it as NTFS drive. I tried to recover my files with your software and it found the photo (*.JPG) files. It could not find the most precious AVHC files though, because there is no such file type in the list of 'known' files. The type/extension I need is *.m2ts. Please advice if there is a way to custom set a new file type and recover that type/extension. Thanks |

Hi,
If you follow the instructions for a format recover (How to recover a formatted hard drive) then you should be able to recover all the files on this drive, including the m2ts files. Thank you.
