HI!
Windows XP was acting retarded, so I decided to format - unknowingly, I had my 750GB external HD attached (which contained all of my music [about 20k songs] and all of my photos/movies... and of course Windows decided to start formatting this instead. Luckily, I stopped the format right as it got to 1%. I stuck the cord back in and got the "this hard drive is not formatted" error message. So I read the stickies, downloaded your program, and now I'm doing a complete file find. The search has been going on for 9 hours and 3 minutes and looks like it not even 10% done. Is there a quicker way to get my files back or should I just endure through this? Thanks! |

Hi,
I suggest you stop the current search and save any valuable files. Then follow these instructions: How to recover a formatted hard drive and you should have your files back within a few hours with their full file and folder structure. Good luck.

It is not currently possible to save and reload search results. This will be a new feature in Version 4 when it comes out.
