Can I get a Reason instead of a solution?
Recently I've been plagued by frequent crashes by Vista HomePrem32 and it's seriously gotten quite annoying.
I will return to my computer in the morning and find it stalled at a black screen with a message stating that windows crashed... yada, yada, yada... more advertising. Anyway, this is what I get at startup...
File: \Boot\BCD
Status: 0xc0000034
Info: The Windows Boot Configuration Data file is missing required information
I then proceed to insert my Vista disc and do the recovery and all that jazz, so I'm back up and running again... happy, right? No, the following morning I get the same screen with the same message. So I recover again...
All I'm asking for is for some direction on the reason for this issue... I know how to fix it, but I'd rather not have to, you know?
Thanks.
