Default Partition Magic 8 Crash

Hi, I was resizeing my C: drive from 10 GB to 20 GB i took data from my logical partition of the drive. I restarted my computer and PTM started. Then suddenly it froze for about 5 seconds and my computer restarted. And now i have lost the other logical partition and the format is PqRP.
I don't have a Rescue disk.
Is there anyway i can get the lost data back?

Default Data Recovery

Hi,

Download Recover My Files (Data Recovery Software to Undelete Files; Disk recovery; Recover Deleted Files) and run a Complete Format Recover on the physical drive. Follow the instructions in the first post of this forum, and let me know the results.

Thank you.

Ok, it have been going for 36 hours now and have recoverd alot of files. But it isnt done yet. 1/4 is done, it takes forever.

One question; What is O/S Items?

Edit: Well isnt this just great! The program crashed. And i can't view the Files anymore. And it stopped searching.

Default Data Recovery

I can tell by your post and the screen shot that you were not following the instructions

Please follow these instructions, and you should get your files back within a short period of time: http://forums.getdata.com/computer-d...ard-drive.html

PS: Make sure you only search for the default file types! (Do not search for TXT files!)
