Windows Recovery Deleted a LOT of my files. Please help

OKAY I was organizing my PC moving all my .avi files, .iso files and .mp3 files together in to folders like MUSIC, MOVIES, GAMES and PROGRAMS.

I had installed a program that was using 170% of my cpu I thought if I dident restore it might ware my CPU out Not to mention it took 5 mins to load firefox. . . I have 2056MG of ram and a good cpu so this was not right.

I had Used windows XP recovery to restore my WINDOWS to its previous state. Why on earth did it delete my files?

I have 2 HD's one has C: and D:"windows is on this" also E: F: and G:

My files i moved around where on C: F: and E: Drives. If windows restore just deletes the registry and backs it up why the hell dident it just move the files back to where they where before they where organized? I guess in turn I should have not organized my files and installed a program the same day.

Seriously If windows restore just restores windows why are my files missing?

I lost a LOT OF DATA and really windows restore said nothing of this I got no warning. All I know is if you use windows restore and you have saved something on the desktop or in Documents and settings it deletes it or makes a new user for the old backup files to go to. Is it possible that windows just erased windows links to the files? Well if that is the case I still cant see the old files the folders before I organized them are there BUT NO DATA IN THEM. I am so frustrated I have used windows restore before and this has never happend!!!! The weird thing is one of the folders 3 MUSIC is there and has information in it and this folder dident exsis before the restore date this folder was made after the restore date before the restore ever happend and so this is why I am mad at windows for delete my filed but saved one folder? And now I have to pay money to windows for its mistakes?

Can someone please help me I am so mad right now all I want to do I set my PC on fire because as you can imagine that was 4 YEARS of COLLECTING and PAYING AND ISP for download band with....

This may be confusing for whom ever reads this but everything I said here is accurate as it is still in my memory from the 6 hours I spent organizing and using windows restore.... Did i mention my cpu was overclocked by a program I could not uninstall? That is the only reason i used Windows Restore. And it did mention I may loose files but I thought that was only installed programs and stuff that was not on there AFTER the restore point. It seem to delete a LOT of files that where on there even BEFORE the restore point. SO Any information would help a LOT.

I did download a freeware program to recover lost data but wow a LOT of files where deleted out of my installed games and they where also installed before the restore point as well. So seriously After this I dont believe windows restore did anything good to my pc I would have rather spent 3 days burning DATA to DVD and reinstalling windows than to go through this.
