Hi - so pleased to find this app !
I have a 455 gb drive that I am trying to recover data from. I have selected the recover from a reformatted disk as I think that is prob best. I seem to be about a 10th of the way through and it has taken 4 hrs so far! Is there a quicker way???? I am after vid, photo, email, word and excel file recovery. The reason I lost the data was that a trojan file caused Vista to crash. I then had to reload vista which has lost all my files. So I hope I can recover them all. I have a lot backed up but I havent backed up for 6 months (oops). So far it is finding a lot of my files, so fingers crossed... Any tips on speeding it up?? Should I stop and restart with a simpler scan? thanks Gary |

Hi Gary,
Usually the fastest way to recover a formatted drive is to follow these instructions: http://forums.getdata.com/computer-d...ard-drive.html
