In the search results you may find that there a multiple partitions found. Some may not be valid, but you should find at least one where you can preview the search results.

Hey
Thats it finished now. The search found 45000 files then went on to find 4 partitions. I've pulled the files off each partition, but very few work, and the ones that do have the wrong name for the file. Im guessing that i wont be able to recover them? |

It sounds like the Master File Table records are really screwed up.
You best chance now for recovery is to run the Complete File Search for specific file types. However, this will not recover the original file or folder names.
