Unhappy Recovering entire data from formated Hdd!Help needed!

HI,everyone.
I have an internal 250gb sata hard-disk.I had 2 partitions of 125gb each -D drive and E drive both reasonably filled with data(atleast 200gb).
Now, yesterday my dad unknowingly used diskpart on my 250gb hdd,it formated the disk and the now partitions have gotten deleted.I now have a single D Drive showing 250gb of space.
Since i knew the data could be recovered i have left the hdd untouched and
not added any data to it.
So i purchased your software and tried complete format recovery on the physical 250gb hdd(I did go through d stickied guide perfectly).
The problem is the result shows only 38 o/s and shockingly 0 files. After a complete search, in folder view i got Recovered NTFS Partition 1 and Recovered NTFS Partition 2 (their total size was 311.8 mb).Inside these folders are these weird .mft and .tmp files. What do i do with them? I want do recover the entire hard-drive in as-was condition! PLs help me out!

ps. I have tried this process atleast 5 times and have received the same result! I have also tried file search recovery!

This sounds very odd.

Please run a Complete File Search on the physical hard drive searching for the pre-selected file types (eg. jpeg, doc, bmp, xls, zip, pdf).

Whilst the search is in progress, preview the files found in folder view of the search results screen.

Does it find files, can you preview them?

Thank u for your reply.I did run a search on the Physical 250 gig hdd with default files selected and am getting the same result.
Also when in progress i get absolutely no files in File type or folder view.
When the search is complete, the files recovered are of only 300mb size and have odd extensions such as .mft. and .tmp and cannot be previewed.
I even tried adding a few filetypes like .mp3,.rar,etc still no result.Do you think diskpart formatted the data in such a way that it can't be recovered.

Hi,

When you run a Complete File Search on the physical drive you should not get any other files than the types you selected.

If you are currently online, click on the Live Support button and I will help you that way.

It is very strange that you are not getting any files.

Perhaps your PC is not correctly accessing the physical device. Check cables etc.

It is unlikely that what was done to your computer would permanently erase any data.

When you are here next, check to see if any support staff are online (top right hand corner of this page) and if they are, ask for me. I can then connect to your pc and take a look.

Thank you.

I did go online where Paul looked upon my problems and suggested me a few changes in the manual options. Still i was unable to recover any files, all i managed to recover was a bmp file.
I noticed that in the event log i keep getting this,
Error: Error in processing OLE Driver at sector/cluster 47192
Thought it would help you.
