I've been running the complete recover for a laptop harddrive that failed to boot. It started slow...then for a little while was scanning quickly, now it is back to extremely slow....it has been running about 30 hours now...it looks like it has found alot of the jpegs I'm trying to recover....but now is in not-responding mode...and is moving through about 1 file a minute I think...Can I press stop and recover the files that it found?
it is showing at 57020447 of 234441648...and is mostly in not responding mode, but every once in a while it updates a few files further in progress. Thanks |

Yes, you can press stop.
If you want to start a search from where you left off - go to OPTIONS > ADVANCED and put a tick in the box for "prompt for start cluster....". Then enter the number where you stopped, and the search will run from that point.
