Default Cannot read any recovered files!

Hi! I have a Sony VAIO SZ220 and I get a blue screen right before windows welcome screen. I tried to reboot in safe mode and i still get a blue screen. I swapped the RAM around and I get a blue screen with any of them in any slot. I put in the windows XP CD and try to reinstall but it only sees one partition and it tells me that I have to format - there no option for Leave partition as it is.
So I want to get my data before I try to reinstall windows.
I found an Active disk bootable that uses the RAM to boot so it works. I recovered the data with Active@ File Recovery but i cannot read the docs, see the pictures or play any of the mp3 files that I recovered. The problem is that all the files are in My Documents.
Please help me!

Default Data Recovery

The best thing to do would be to remove the drive from the PC and use and adapter to connect it to another working machine as a secondary drive.

Then try and view the file system. If you cant, try Recover My Files from Data Recovery Software to Undelete Files; Disk recovery; Recover Deleted Files and run a Complete Format Recovery search using the instructions in the first post of this forum.

Good luck.

Default Thank you!

I already start using Recover My files and it works really really slow to recover them. I have to do it one by one also.
I think it's a hard drive failure 'cause the hard drive makes some weird noise and it's slow. What brand do you recommend for replacement?
Thank you again for your support!
